Zoology is a branch of biology which deals with the study of animal life hence called animal science . Zoology is both descriptive and analytical.i.e.it can be approached either as a basic science or as applied science. Basic science provides a fundamental understanding of natural phenomenon while in applied zoology workers are interested in information that will directly benefit humans and animals (eg.medicines) ZOOLOGIST -They are dedicated animal lovers often far and wide to study various species of animals in a particular habitat. They study animals and other wildlife and how they interact with their ecosystem. HISTORY Initially man survived on hunting.He hunted animals which were a source of food and danger to them.
